Corona Red List, important news from the UK

The UK has also announced the removal of seven more countries from the Corona Red List.

According to British media, the UK has also announced the removal of seven more countries from the Corona Red List. On November 1, Colombia, the Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Haiti, Panama, Peru and Venezuela will be removed from the red list.

No country will remain on the UK travel ban list after November 1.

However, the British Minister for Transport said that the red list was not being removed but would be reviewed in three weeks.

It should be noted that last September, the British government had updated the traffic light system keeping in view the situation in Corona. The UK’s Secretary of Transportation said eight other countries, including Pakistan, had been removed from the red list, a decision that took effect on September 22.

The British government announced the replacement of the traffic light system with red and amber instead of red, amber and green lists, according to which Pakistan was on the roster.

Those traveling to the UK from Rolls-Royce countries did not need a ten-day quarantine at the hotel.

The British High Commissioner in Islamabad confirmed that Pakistan’s name had been removed from the red list and credited Asad Umar, his team and the health department.

“I confirm that Pakistan’s name has been removed from the red list. I think the last five months have been very painful,” he wrote in his message.
