The Lions of El Escogido saw a six lead over the Gigantes del Cibao vanish this Friday, however, they reacted in the ninth with two runs that gave them the 8-7 victory at the Julián Javier stadium.
The long-haired attack was started with a solo homer by pinch-hitter Franchy Cordero through right field off Juan Minaya, who hit two more runners and allowed a double to the right field wall by Wilkin Castillo, who came in to bat for Michael. Brosseau, to mark the eighth of the capitaleños.
