Copyright clears complaints of corruption belong to previous authorities

The National Copyright Office (ONDA) clarified that the complaint about alleged acts of administrative corruption presented by the National Directorate of Government Ethics (Digeig), before the Public Ministry, does not correspond to the current management of José Ruben Gonell Cosme.

The ONDA, in a note sent to the media, said that it has a duty to clarify this situation and affirmed that the current incumbent values and supports the initiative of the Digeig, under the wise direction of Dr. Milagros Ortiz Bosch , in its effort to make the public administration transparent.

This Friday the Attorney General of the Republic, Miriam Germán Brito, received in her office the head of the National Directorate of Government Ethics (Digeig), Milagros Ortiz Bosch, who presented two complaints to the Public Ministry of alleged acts of administrative corruption in the National Copyright Office (ONDA) and in the General Directorate of Internal Taxes (DGII).

Germán Brito received Ortiz Bosch in the company of Deputy Attorney General Wilson Camacho, head of the Special Prosecutor’s Office for the Persecution of Administrative Corruption (Pepca), an organ of the Public Ministry that will direct the investigation of the two complaints.
