Get ready to talk to your TV, because AI is coming to the big screen. Microsoft’s Copilot assistant will soon appear on smart TVs. Samsung is leading the charge, bringing Copilot to its 2025 TV and smart monitor models.
Imagine asking your TV for movie ideas. Copilot will be there to offer suggestions. It can even give you a quick story summary without spoiling the ending. You can ask it lots of other questions too, making your TV a smarter home helper.
This TV version of Copilot won’t just be text on a screen. It shows up as a friendly cartoon character. Think of a cute, beige rice grain with a face that talks back to you. This little helper will bounce around your screen and move its mouth as it speaks.
When these new TVs hit the market, Copilot will be ready. It will automatically pop up on compatible Samsung models. You’ll find it right on the Samsung Tizen OS home screen, in Samsung Daily Plus, and through Click to Search. To get started, just use a voice command or press the microphone button on your remote. You can then begin chatting with Copilot right away.
Microsoft mentioned that logging into the Copilot app will make the experience even better. This “personalized experience” means Copilot can remember your past talks. It will also learn your preferences, giving you more tailored advice.
Copilot will be available on several 2025 Samsung TV models. These include Micro RGB, Neo QLED, OLED, The Frame Pro, and The Frame. For smart monitors, look for it on the M7, M8, and M9 models. Microsoft has also shared plans to bring Copilot to LG TVs in the future.
