Copa del Rey 2025 Bracket Released with Real Madrid as Favorite

The Sports coaches and directors of the Endesa League have their predictions for the Copa del Rey 2025. In a survey of the technicians and managers of the ten unclassified teams, they shared their forecasts for each of the qualifiers, as well as their bets for the MVP Movistar.

Up to 5 different teams are seen as possible champions of this Cup, with Real Madrid being the favorite, chosen by 55% of respondents. The results show seven possible finals, involving six of the eight participants, with the most repeated being Barça-Real Madrid, chosen by 35% of respondents.

Only a quarterfinal qualifier has a unanimous prognosis, with 100% of respondents believing that Unicaja will win against Joventut Badalona in the match that opens the Cup. Facu Campazzo is the most popular candidate to be MVP Movistar.

Looking at the complete results, the survey shows that Unicaja is expected to win against Joventut Badalona, with a 100% overwhelming consensus. The leader of the first round will be the first classified for Semis, according to the survey results. In the match between Tenerife and Barça, opinions are divided, with Barça being a favorite by the minimum: 55% of forecasts, compared to 45% of the aurinegro team.

Real Madrid is the great favorite in their tie against Baxi Manresa, with 95% of respondents seeing them winning, compared to 5% who believe in the Manresana surprise. In the last quarterfinal duel, Valencia Basket, head of series, takes 75% of the votes, compared to the 25% that the host team receives.

Final, Champion and MVP Movistar

When predicting which teams the Copa del Rey will be played, there is no unanimity. The reigning competitiveness in the Endesa League is reflected in the seven different finals that appear in the survey, which involve six of the eight participating teams. The most repeated final is Barça-Real Madrid, chosen by 35% of respondents.

Real Madrid appears as a favorite to revalidate the title, with 55% of trainers’ brackets and sports directors pointing to the white team as a champion. The next team most likely is Valencia Basket, chosen by 25% of respondents. Barça, Unicaja, and Dreamland Gran Canaria are also received as possible champions.

Facu Campazzo is the most repeated name as MVP Movistar, chosen by 45% of the forecasts. It would be the third cupo award for the Argentine, second consecutively. In addition, seven other players receive at least one vote: Mario Hezonja, Kevin Punter, Jean Montero, Semi Ojeleye, Kendrick Perry, Nico Brussino, and Josep Puerto.
