On August 14th, “Coolie” premiered in theaters. Shruti Haasan decided to catch the first show with her friends at a theater in Chennai. Everything seemed fine until her car approached the entrance. A security guard stepped forward and motioned for them to stop. Talk about an awkward moment!
The video of this mix-up quickly spread online. Shruti and her friends found it quite funny. You can hear Shruti trying to explain, laughing as she spoke. She told the guard, “I am in the film. Please let me come in, anna. I am the heroine, sir.” It’s not everyday a security guard needs proof from a star!
