Conflict Russia – Ukraine I Alberto Fernández asked Moscow to "put an end to the actions taken" in Ukraine

President Alberto Fernández asked Russia this Thursday to “end the actions undertaken” in Ukraine and he hoped that all the parties involved in the conflict “return to the dialogue table”.

“We call on all parties not to use military force”Fernandez emphasized on his Twitter account, while stating: “I deeply regret the escalation of war that we know from the situation generated in Ukraine.”

Likewise, he considered that “dialogue and respect for the sovereignty, territorial integrity, security of States and human rights guarantee fair and lasting solutions to conflicts.”

Fernández made “a call to all parties not to use military force” and asked the Russian Federation “to put an end to the actions undertaken and for all parties involved to return to the dialogue table.”

After pointing out that “the evolution of events continues to be attentive”, the president anticipated that in this context the Government ordered “full assistance to Argentines residing or passengers in Ukraine”.

“We suffer many deaths caused by the pandemic. Humanity has suffered a lot”, which “creates a moral imperative for the parties to commit to the peaceful resolution of the dispute, acting with the greatest prudence and responsibility to guarantee world peace” added the chief executive.
