Executive Vice President of National Council of Private Enterprise (Conep), Cesar Dargam, positively described the Accountability speech made by the President of the Republic, Luis Abinader, before the National Assembly on the occasion of commemorating the 178th anniversary of the Independence of the Republic.
Dargam stated that it was un positive speech in a time of uncertaintywhere the unity of all Dominicans is required.
He added that it was a Rendering of Account where The president was able to present all that the country has advanced in the process of economic recovery and employment and address the challenges it faces, especially in terms of subsidies to the most affected sectors.
Regarding the consequences that the war between Ukraine and Russia will bring, Dargam expressed that without a doubt this is a war that brings with it many effects, some that have to do with commodities and fuels and said that he hopes that next week there will be more stability and that as a country we can anticipate the events of what may be happening in Europe.
