Housing: Cooler Master HAF 500
The eye-catcher of the midi tower Cooler Master HAF 500 are the two powerful 200mm fans in the front with ARGB lighting. They ensure optimal air supply behind the fine-meshed grille. A 120mm ARGB rear fan is also pre-installed. One of the special features is the 120mm graphics card fan, the angle of which can be continuously adjusted between 0 and 90 degrees.
Despite its compact dimensions of 224 x 510 x 516 mm, the HAF 500 offers more than enough space for the components: a 360 radiator fits into the front and top and you can install two HDDs and four SSDs. The dust filters on the air inlets and the generous space for cable management are practical.
The side panel made of tempered glass allows a view of the built-in hardware and its RGB LEDs. In addition to the obligatory power/reset button, the front panel also has one USB-C 3.1 (10 Gbit/s), two USB-A 3.0 (5 Gbit/s) and a combined 3.5 mm jack connection for headphones and microphone for internal ARGB control, which you can use optionally.
Graphics card: ASUS ProArt GeForce RTX 4070 Ti

ASUS ROG
The ASUS ProArt GeForce RTX 4070 Ti graphics card for around 1000 euros runs with a boost clock of 2610 MHz and has an FP32 computing power of over 43 teraflops. This means that the graphics card delivers smooth frame rates for WQHD gaming in almost all games at high quality settings – including activated ray tracing.
Asus specifies the TDP of the PCIe 5.0 card as 285 watts. The graphics processor is equipped with 12 gigabytes of GDDR6 video memory, which is connected via a 192-bit wide interface. The memory clock speed is 1313 MHz. This means that the Asus graphics card has a memory throughput of 504 GB/s.
The graphics card is cooled by three 90 mm axial fans, which can also be switched off completely in 0dB zero fan mode. The graphics card has 1x HDMI 2.1a and 3x DisplayPort 1.4a for video outputs. The scope of delivery includes a graphics card holder and a PCIe power adapter (2x 8pin to 1x 12pin).
Processor: Intel Core i7-14700K

Adam Patrick Murray / Foundry
The Intel Core i7-14700K processor for around 430 euros is based on the Raptor Cove (P-Core) or Gracemont (E-Core) desktop architecture and runs with a base and turbo clock of 3.4 and 5.6 GHz (Performance cores) or 2.5 and 4.3 GHz (E-Cores). The 20-core can process 28 threads in parallel and has 16 PCIe 5.0 lanes and 4 PCIe 4.0 channels on the CPU side.
Intel specifies the TDP of the processor for the LGA1700 socket as 125W (Processor Base Power) or 253W (Maximum Turbo Power). The DDR5 controller built into the CPU controls two memory channels in parallel (dual channel) and achieves a memory bandwidth of up to 89.6 GB/s. The maximum memory expansion is 192 GB.
AIO water cooling: Cooler Master MasterLiquid 360 Atmos ARGB

Cool master
So that the processor can fully exploit its performance potential, we give the Intel CPU the all-in-one water cooling Cooler Master MasterLiquid 360 Atmos ARGB. The AIO relies on a two-chamber pump that spatially separates the cold and hot streams from each other.
The three 120mm fans of the Atmos rotate at 690 to 1500 revolutions per minute, resulting in an air volume of up to 120 cubic meters that the trio blows through the radiator per hour. In addition to the fans, the cooling block on the top is also ARGB illuminated.
Motherboard: ASUS ROG Strix Z790-H Gaming WIFI

ASUS
The ASUS ROG STRIX Z790-H GAMING WIFI for just under 300 euros offers top-class equipment at a mid-range price: 17 virtual phases leave plenty of scope for CPU overclocking – this is also ensured by the massive heat sinks on all potential hotspots such as chipset, M.2 -Slots and voltage converters.
The ATX board provides 1x PCIe 5.0 x16, 1x PCI 4.0 x16, 1x PCIe 3.0, 4x M.2 PCIe 4.0 (x4) and 4x DDR5 DIMM (maximum 7800 MHz) at expansion slots. The rear interface panel offers 1x HDMI 2.1 and 1x Displayport 1.4 for the CPU graphics, 1x USB-C 3.2 (20Gb/s), 1x USB-C 3.1 (10 GBit/s), 2x USB-A 3.1 (10Gb/ s), 4x USB-A 3.0 (5Gb/s), 2x USB-A 2.0, 1x 2.5GBase-T (Intel I226), 5x jack, 1x Toslink and two antenna ports. Additional extras include the practical “CLEAR CMOS” and “Bios Flashback” buttons.
The special features of the Asus motherboard include Wi-Fi 6E including Bluetooth 5.3, a diagnostic LED, the integrated I/O panel, the 1-zone RGB lighting, onboard TPM 2.0 support (Intel PPT) and the integrated 7.1 audio chip Realtek ALC1220 – including ASUS SupremeFX.
RAM: Kingston FURY Renegade RGB DDR5-8000 CL38 Kit 32GB

Kingston
We get really fast RAM in the computer with the Kingston FURY Renegade kit with 2 x 16 gigabytes – a total of 32 GB. The DDR5 modules work with an effective memory clock of 8000 MHz. The single-rank modules run with CL38-48-48 access times.
Solid State Drive: Kingston FURY Renegade 2TB

Kingston
Thanks to the PCI Express 4.0 connection, the 2000 gigabyte system SSD Kingston FURY Renegade 2 TB has rapid transfer rates of up to 7300 MB/s for sequential reading and 7000 MB/s for writing. In practice, the Renegade not only delivers data without delay when gaming, but is also fast enough for all areas of use – for example as a system SSD for a creative workstation.
The lifespan, or more precisely the amount of data that you can write to the SSD, is a generous 2000 terabytes (TBW). The Kingston SSD uses TLC 3D NAND from Micron (167 layers), which the Phison PS5018-E18 controller controls over 8 channels and can use an SLC cache (DDR4), the size of which can be adjusted individually.
Power supply: Cooler Master GX III 850 Gold ATX 3.0

Cool master
The fully modular Cooler Master GX III Gold 850 ATX 3.0 power supply uses semi-passive control of the 135mm fan. The ATX 3.0 power supply is 80 Plus Gold certified and therefore works with an average efficiency of 90 percent. Cooler Master offers a whopping 10-year manufacturer’s warranty on the power supply.
Gaming peripherals: Cooler Master CM Storm Devastator III Plus Combo

Cool master
The Cooler Master CM Storm Devastator III Plus Combo mouse-keyboard bundle combines a membrane keyboard with the MM110 gaming mouse at an attractive price. Both devices allow up to seven different lighting options. The keyboard also has six additional multimedia keys and a flat palm rest.
The Cooler Master MM110 relies on an optical sensor whose sampling rate can be adjusted over three levels from 800 to 2400 dpi, as well as robust switches from Omron.
