The cafe owned by comedian Kapil Sharma in Surrey, Canada, has been attacked for the third time in four months. Media reports indicate that the Lawrence Bishnoi gang has claimed responsibility for this latest incident.
The establishment was targeted by gunfire after midnight, with assailants reportedly firing more than four bullets. This attack follows previous incidents despite heightened security measures.
Senior journalist Sameer Kaushal, speaking to Amar Ujala Digital, confirmed that the attackers struck the exact same spot as during a previous shooting. This occurred even though police had been closely monitoring the cafe.
Kaushal noted that initial security increases after the first attack included a dummy car outside and extensive area surveillance. Despite these efforts, the latest incident still happened.
The journalist suggested that the repeated targeting of the same window indicates a deliberate effort by the attackers to spread fear. No guests or staff were harmed due to the late hour of the incident.
Authorities are still awaiting official police confirmation regarding the gang’s claim of responsibility. These recurring attacks have caused significant concern among residents in the area.
