Bollywood director Karan Johar surprised his fans via Twitter. He announced that the Bollywood talk show Koffee with Karan will not be coming back.
Hello, Koffee with Karan has been a part of my life and yours for six seasons. I’d like to think we’ve made an impact and even found our place in pop culture history. And then, with a heavy heart, I announce that Koffee with Karan will not be returning.”

This news immediately received many reactions. Many were skeptical, while others expressed sadness at the end of an era.
But the Drama King isn’t just the Drama King. Karan then surprised her fans with the news that the show will be moving to the Hotstar digital platform.
“Coffee with Karan is not coming back… on TV! Because every great story needs a good plot twist, I’m excited to announce that Koffee With Karan Season 7 is streaming exclusively on Disney+ Hotstar!

“The biggest movie stars from all over India return to the sofa to make revelations over coffee. The first season of the talk show premiered in 2004, with Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol as guests. In the last 15 years we have seen guests like Salman Khan, Kareena Kapoor, Karisma Kapoor, Sonam Kapoor, Aamir Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, Twinkle Khanna, Rani Mukerji, Akshay Kumar, Hrithik Roshan, Saif Ali Khan, Sanjay Dutt, Ekta Kapoor, John Abraham, Lara Dutta and many more take a seat on the most popular couch on television. And season 7 is no different!
