The Dominican Olympic Committee (COD) rejoices and celebrates with the Dominican zone leaders this National Club Day.
“We celebrate this Saturday, October 9 with all our grassroots leaders, those dedicated men who work in different sectors of this capital and the interior of the country, organized in clubs,” said Antonio Acosta, president of the COD.
Acosta points out that the clubs are the basis of the Dominican sports movement.
“We all come from that base, where we are trained, we work for the development and strengthening of sport,” Acosta added in his congratulatory message.
The president of the COD exhorted the national club leadership to continue working together to maintain an organized, stronger and more vigorous sports movement.
