Gauff, the world number two, will face Aryna Sabalenka in the final on Saturday. Sabalenka took down Iga Swiatek, a four-time champion, earlier that day. Swiatek had beaten Gauff in 2022.

Gauff, the 2023 US Open champion, dominated the 361st-ranked French player. This was the lowest-ranked player to make a Grand Slam semifinal in 40 years.
Aryna Sabalenka, the world number one, qualified for her first Roland Garros final. She beat Iga Swiatek 7-6 (7-1), 4-6, and 6-0.
Sabalenka, 27, is a two-time Australian Open champion (2023 and 2024) and the latest US Open winner. She will make her Roland Garros final debut.
