CM Devendra Fadnavis Praises Ramayana Movie Starring Ranbir Kapoor and Sai Pallavi

Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis is full of praise for Nitesh Tiwari’s upcoming film Ramayana, starring Ranbir Kapoor and Sai Pallavi. Speaking at the Waves Summit in Mumbai, Fadnavis expressed his amazement at the film’s quality.

Fadnavis Lauds Ramayana’s Visuals

During a conversation with writer-producer Namit Malhotra at the summit, Fadnavis said, “We’re the world’s oldest storytellers. Our art, drama, and music are ancient, and we’re just trying to blend them with new technology.” He was impressed by the film’s visuals, saying he was “stunned” by the quality when he visited Malhotra’s pavilion with Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

A video of Fadnavis praising the film has gone viral on social media. According to reports, Fadnavis believes that retelling ancient stories like Ramayana using modern technology is the best way to engage the new generation.

Star-Studded Cast

The film boasts an impressive cast, with Ranbir Kapoor playing Lord Ram, Sai Pallavi as Sita, and Ravi Dubey as Lakshman. Sunny Deol will portray Hanuman, while Yash will play the role of Ravana. The film is being directed by Nitesh Tiwari and will be released in two parts. The first part is scheduled for release on Diwali 2026, followed by the second part on Diwali 2027.

The Waves Summit, now in its third day, is a four-day event that will conclude on May 4. Fans are eagerly awaiting the release of Ramayana, and the film’s grandeur and star-studded cast are generating significant buzz.
