The eleventh player of Cibao FC scored a “Hand” and thrashed Atlético San Cristóbal 5-1, in a match of day 7 of the Dominican Football League (LDF 2022), held on Friday night at the Pontificia Universidad Católica stadium Mother and Teacher.

Cibao imposed local respect and dominated the visitors throughout the 90 minutes of play, after winning 2-1 in the first half and 3-0 in the second.

The orange club increased to 28 regular series games without losing, where they add 20 wins and 8 draws, a streak that began in the 2020 championship.

The echo of the initial whistle was still reproduced in the bombonera, when Erick Japa received a ball in front of the goal and with a “little hat” from Japa on the goalkeeper, the first goal was scored as early as minute 3.

The eleventh orange player returned to the charge at minute 18, scoring his second goal from the legs of Yohan Parra.

San Cristóbal had breath in the 38th minute when Christopher Almonte scored the goal that brought the southerners 2-1 and thus they went into halftime.

Ten minutes later, in minute 72, Colombian Juan David Díaz scored his fourth goal of the season for a 4-1 scoreline.

But there was more to come and the Uruguayan Christian Alba, who came on in the 67th minute, achieved the locals’ fifth and their second in the championship for a stunning 5-1.
