Cibao FC signs Colombian winger Dairin González

Cibao FC, champions of the Dominican Soccer League (LDF), announced the integration of Colombian Dairin González into their squad, with the intention of shielding the defensive part of their eleventh.

Gonzalez comes from playing between 2019 and 2021 in Bolivian soccer where he played for Unión Magdalena and Slovakia, he also wore the Kosice number.

Dairin González is a lanky winger who measures 6’3” and upon his arrival at the team he says he feels very good and flattered"having reached this league, not every time you have the opportunity to reach one like this with high growth and where very good players are arriving ".

He added that he also likes to get to "a team with as much competition as the Cibao, so we are ready to meet the challenges that have been set and show the talent and the level for which they brought me"  

What do we bring? "At the Cibao they force you to win, we always have to be at the level of a champion team, I bring a bit of my experience, of leadership and we are going to complement each other well with the teammates we have. The idea is to return with the help of God to repeat the championship"

Dairin began playing soccer early at the age of six in his native Colombia, as part of the Estrellas del Futuro project.

Later, he joined the basic forces of Millonario FC and his debut in the first division took place in 2009 and two years later, in 2011, he played with Leones FC, in the second division of Colombia.

In 2014 González started with Fortaleza FC, but in the middle of the year he went to América de Calí, where he remained until 2017.

In Colombia he was summoned to the U-17 and U-20 teams and now he has arrived in Santiago to defend the orange team crown.
