Christmas Bonus will be delivered to one million 700 thousand people

The beneficiaries of the Christmas Bonus that the government will deliver to low-income people will be able to purchase products in the large supermarket chains.

This was agreed during a meeting held by the general director of the Social Subsidies Administrator (ADESS), Digna Reynoso and the Coordinator of the Solcial Policy Cabinet, Tony Peña Guaba, with the representatives of the supermarket chains where they were informed of their inclusion to the Social Supply Network (RAS).

The meeting is part of the preparations carried out by the institutions that are part of the social protection system, and in particular, those that manage the social programs granted by the Government, through the Cabinet for the Coordination of Social Policy (GCPS), with a view to the delivery of the Christmas Bonus card.

The product was created by the management of President Luis Abinader, with the aim of guaranteeing Christmas dinner for families that receive lower income, in an environment of dignity and respect.

Tony Peña informed the representatives of the supermarket chains of his participation in this gear, since the Christmas Bonus may be used by the beneficiaries in any commercial establishment that sells food and has the electronic billing platform (dataphone) to pass the card .

In addition to supermarkets, mini-markets, grocery stores, butchers and fishmongers will also be integrated into the supply chain, where products that are consumed at this Christmas time by more than one million 700 thousand people will be delivered, to whom the Bond.
