The circuits continue to leave bad news because yesterday, Chrissy Rose (Newcastle, 27 years old), suffered a serious accident on the first lap of British Superbike Race 3 which caused him major head injuries. As soon as the fall happened with his BMW M1000RR, the stewards showed a red flag at Donington Park and the medical team attended to the Briton on the track. In gravity, fortunately they were able to stabilize him at the foot of the track to be transferred immediately to the Queens Medical Center/University Hospital in Nottingham for treatment.

Once he arrived at the hospital, Rouse was immediately undergoing a neurosurgical procedure emergency and the last update on his condition, issued after the intervention, communicated that he remained totally sedated and in critical condition in ICU. The Briton was completing his first full season in BSB with the Crowe Performance team and for the time being, more news is still awaited from a rider now fighting for the biggest race of his life.
