Chosen to repeat reliever Steven Wilson

The Operations Management of the Lions of the Chosen One announced the return of reliever Steven Wilson, who did an outstanding job with the long-haired men last season.

The right-hander had a 1.88 ERA in 14.1 innings in which he struck out 15 in the 2020-21 tournament. His record was 2-0, he saved 5 games and recorded 0.84 WHIP.

In this 2021 he worked with El Paso Chihuahuas, standing out with 14.4 strikeouts per nine innings and 0.91 of WHIP. In both departments he ranked fourth in the Triple-A West league.

His total numbers with the San Diego Padres branch were 4-0, 3.43 ERA and 63 strikeouts in 39.1 innings. He hit just .157 in opposition to the Littleton, Colorado native.

With Wilson he increased the number of reinforcements announced by the Scarlets to seven. The club will also repeat starters David Kubiak and Teddy Stankiewicz, reliever Drew Carlton and catcher Brett Sullivan. They will bring in for the first time the right-hander Yoen Socarras and the left-hander Ethan Small, both with the ability to start games.
