Through this, there is a plan to connect the Chinese province of Xinjiang with the port of Gwadar in Pakistan. Thousands of Chinese citizens are working on Pakistani territory in various schemes operated under CPEC, and they have to face many challenges, including terrorism in this country.

When asked about this, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Zhao Lijian told a press conference in Beijing: “We hope that Pakistan will provide more favorable conditions and facilitate business for Chinese companies operating there.” However, he did not say anything in detail about it.
