China announces 37 37 million aid to Afghanistan
Announcing trade and investment plans for Afghanistan, the Chinese ambassador said 37 37 million would be provided to help earthquake victims, according to a foreign news agency.
He said the money was being given for the relief of the devastating earthquake on June 22.
The international community has not yet recognized the Afghan Taliban government, and China is the first country to establish trade ties with the Taliban government.
China’s recognition of the Taliban government is the first global confirmation.
The Chinese diplomat said that for Afghanistan, we have long-term economic reconstruction plans in which trade will be given priority.
