Beijing: China and India expelled each other’s journalists from the country.

According to the American newspaper Wall Street General, China and India have expelled almost all of each other’s journalists from their respective countries due to the escalation of hostilities.

Tensions between China and India have spilled over into the media arena, with both cutting off each other’s media presence in their respective countries, according to a report that sparked a rift between China and India with deadly border clashes. It has now been deepened by these neighbors denying visas to each other’s reporters.

India had rejected the request of the last two Chinese journalists to extend the visa period, after which China also rejected the representation papers of the Indian journalists. The Chinese journalists were from the state-run Xinhua News Agency and China Central Television.

It should be noted that since the border clash in June 2020, relations between the two countries have been continuously strained.
