The four children who were lost in the Amazon jungle for 40 days, after surviving a plane crash in which they were traveling with their mother, another adult and the pilot were released from the hospital where they had been since June 9, official sources told EFE.
“The children are no longer in the hospital,” said sources from the Colombian Institute of Family Welfare (ICBF), who is in charge of determining who is going to keep custody of the four minorssince the mother died in the accident and after the accusations that the father has.
The little ones left the Central Military Hospital (HMC) in Bogotá on Thursday night and are “very well” after they were rescued on June 9 after 40 days lost and transferred to this medical centerwhere they arrived in a pronounced condition of malnutrition and dehydration.
