Children below 5 years of age are allowed to enter Masjid al-Haram

Riyadh: Saudi Arabia has allowed children under the age of five to enter Masjid al-Haram without permission.

According to the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, children under the age of five can enter Masjid al-Haram without the permission of their parents For children above this age, permission must be obtained through the Atimrana app.

Persons coming on tourism and visit visas can perform Umrah, Umrah will be allowed on each visa. Those coming on private and family visas can also get Umrah permit through the Atimrana app.

It should be noted that on July 17, the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah announced the abolition of the permit requirement for prayers in Masjid al-Haram and Masjid Nabawi.
