Chennai Super Kings announced the replacement of Kyle Jamison, including this bowler in the team

Ahead of IPL 2023, there has been a huge change in the Chennai Super Kings squad. In place of New Zealand fast bowler Kyle Jamieson, South African fast bowler Sisanda Magala has become part of the team. This decision has been made due to the injury to Kyle Jamison. Kyle Jamieson of New Zealand played his last international match in June 2022. He suffered a back injury in the Test match against England.

Kyle Jamison, who was unable to join CSK in season 16 due to injury, was bought by Chennai in the mini auction held in 2022 for a price of Rs 1 crore. However, looking closer to the IPL, his replacement towards Chennai Super Kings has been announced. South African fast bowler Sisanda Magala will be part of Chennai Super Kings for IPL 2023.

Concerned with a back injury, Kyle Jamison will now undergo surgery, keeping him away from cricket for around 4 months. Jamison became part of the squad in 2021 by Royal Challengers Bangalore for a whopping fee of Rs 15 crore. That season, he took 9 wickets while bowling in 9 matches and scored runs at a batting average of just 16.25. His economy in bowling was 9.60. After this, he did not participate in the IPL 2022 mega auction. While talking about Sisanda Magala, he is an experienced T20 player.

Sisanda Magala has played a total of 5 ODIs and 4 T20 Internationals for South Africa so far. While bowling in ODIs, she took 6 wickets and 3 wickets in T20 International. Apart from this she has played a total of 127 T20 matches so far in which he has taken 136 wickets at an average of 23.95 while bowling.
