Aldi once again has a high-end gaming PC on offer, namely the Medion Erazer Enforcer X10. Thanks to the built-in Nvidia RTX 4090 from Gigabyte and the current top model from Intel, the i9-13900K, the computer is undoubtedly an absolute gaming monster. The asking price is correspondingly high; Aldi charges 3,849 euros for the PC. But is the price justified and does the configuration make sense for gamers? We’ll do the check.

Medion Erazer Enforcer X10: The configuration in detail
Aldi reveals the following information about the Enforcer X10 on its homepage:
- Intel Core i9-13900K
- Gigabyte Nvidia Geforce RTX 4090 GAMING OC 24G
- Gigabyte Z790 Aorus Elite AX motherboard
- 2TB WD_BLACK SN850X PCIe SSD
- 64GB Kingston Fury Beast RGB – DDR5 RAM with up to 6,000 MHz
- Illuminated glass design from InWin
- Alphacool Eisbaer 240 water cooling
- Windows 11 Home
- Wired mouse
It is already noticeable that some essential information is missing. Only the brand of the case is named and the built-in power supply is not mentioned at all. But let’s stick with what we know for now:
The Intel Core i9-13900K is currently the best gaming CPU after the Ryzen 9 7950X3D and will continue to offer enough performance for high-end gaming in the next few years. The 7950X3D offers a little more performance with less power consumption, but is also a little more expensive to purchase.

Cooling becomes problematic: The i9-13900K is cooled by an all-in-one water cooler from Alphacool, the Eisbaer 240. The cooling performance should be sufficient for gaming, but if you regularly use the CPU to full capacity, for example when rendering videos, a radiator would be useful 360mm better.
The RTX 4090 is currently the most powerful graphics card on the market; the built-in version from Gigabyte is slightly overclocked at the factory. Due to the high price (around 1,800 euros), it’s clearly something for enthusiasts, but thanks to 24 GB of RAM, high clock speeds and the latest AI-supported technologies such as DLSS 3, there’s virtually no alternative for gaming with the highest demands.

The built-in mainboard, the SSD and the RAM generally fit well with the rest of the setup, although DDR5 RAM is still hardly noticeable when gaming. With DDR4 memory and a corresponding mainboard, the price could be reduced significantly. On the other hand, you are prepared for the future and don’t have to worry about upgrading for a long time.
DDR4 or DDR5: Is it worth upgrading?
The choice of housing is always a matter of taste. The housing, which Aldi did not name, is the InWin 905. It is of high quality, but at a price of around 270 euros it is not particularly cheap either.
However, the biggest headache for us with this configuration is the power supply. Aldi and Medion Erazer don’t mention a word about it, which leads us to suspect that it is an OEM component. We don’t know which manufacturer it is, what performance it provides and what certification it holds. An absolute no-go for a gaming computer that costs almost 4,000 euros. The installed components are extremely power-hungry and should therefore be powered by a reliable power supply that, in the best case, still has some power reserves. For such a configuration, we would recommend a 1,000 watt power supply.
The price compared to building it yourself
We reconfigured the known components in a price comparison. Without a power supply (since unknown) and Windows license, we come to a price of around 3,400 euros. Windows 11 Professional is available in the PC-Welt software shop for 69.99 euros, and a branded power supply with 1,000 watts and ATX 3.0 costs between 150 and 200 euros. We have left out the mouse included in the offer in this calculation because it is impossible to assess whether it is even suitable for gaming. This brings us to a self-build price of at least 3,620 euros. So you pay 230 euros for assembly and warranty. Doesn’t sound like a bad deal at first.
Conclusion: Why we do not recommend the Medion Erazer Enforcer X10 despite the good price
The Enforcer X10 is quite attractively priced for a ready-made PC. If you look for similar configurations online, you will hardly find cheaper offers. But there is a catch. The power supply is not named, and we did not receive any specific information when we asked.
In addition, the built-in water cooling for the i9-13900K, which quickly reaches high temperatures, is very limited. If you’re just gaming, you’ll probably get by, but with really demanding tasks that put the CPU to full use, the performance could be throttled due to the low cooling capacity.
For these reasons, we cannot make a purchase recommendation for the Medion Erazer Enforcer X10.
