As of now, the cost to replace the screen on foldables can be as low as $29. But beware, this cost is reserved for subscribers of the brand’s Care+ service.
Replacing the screen can cost as little as $29
This week, Samsung has focused all the attention on itself. At the Unpacked event, it revealed the new Watch 5, the Galaxy Buds 2 Pro earphones, and the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4 foldable smartphones.
But there is more news. The replacement of a flexible screen in the new generation of folding, as of now, has a cost of 29 dollars (about 28 euros). Good news… but only for Samsung Care+ subscribers.
The brand is significantly lowering the price of changing the screen, which is usually a very expensive repair, in the order of hundreds of euros. But since there is no beauty without problem, this affordable cost is reserved for all consumers who subscribe to a Care+ plan of the brand.
Remember that the Samsung Care+ service, with a paid subscription, provides specialized technicians to repair with original parts, liquid damage, provides coverage for theft and even allows you to make two claims per year for repair or replacement.
In Portugal, the service is available on the brand’s website and offers plans for various models of Samsung smartphones with prices between 29 euros and 149 euros.
