Chase, Savannah Chrisley Reveal Lindsie Feud Origin: Julie Fight & Dr. Phil Fallout.

Lindsie Chrisley’s sudden exit from the hit show Chrisley Knows Best has always been a topic of whispers and speculation. Now, her family is pulling back the curtain, finally revealing what truly sparked the major rift. It all came out during the new Lifetime docuseries, The Chrisleys: Back to Reality, with a specific episode airing on Tuesday, September 2.

Savannah Chrisley, who is 28 years old, took viewers back to a heated argument. She said it was a big fight between Lindsie, who is now 35, and Julie Chrisley, 52. This argument changed everything for the family. Savannah recalled a moment when Lindsie tried to wake up 13-year-old Chloe from bed. Lindsie wanted Chloe for a social media post, but Chloe was already asleep. Savannah pointed out that Lindsie would have been furious if someone did that to her own daughter.

For some background on the family, Todd Chrisley and Julie Chrisley share three kids: Chase, 29, Savannah, 28, and Grayson, 19. Todd also has two older children, Lindsie, 35, and Kyle, 34, from his previous marriage to Teresa Terry. On Monday, September 1, another episode of The Chrisleys: Back to Reality shared more about Chloe. Viewers learned that Todd and Julie officially adopted Chloe, who is Kyle’s biological daughter with his ex, Angela Johnson.

Savannah continued to describe the big fight. She said Julie, along with Todd, confronted Lindsie. Julie told Lindsie, “This cannot be happening. Chloe has a schedule.” Savannah claimed Lindsie then completely lost her temper. She started yelling and screaming, insulting her mother with harsh words. Savannah explained that this incident marked the end of Lindsie’s time on the family show.

The Show’s Beginning and Lindsie’s Departure

Chrisley Knows Best first aired in 2014. It followed the wild and often unpredictable lives of Todd and his family. Lindsie was part of the show from the start. However, she made her last appearance during the fifth season. Since then, Lindsie has kept her distance from many of her Chrisley relatives.

During the Lifetime docuseries, producers played a clip from an old interview. It showed Lindsie giving her side of the story about what happened.

Lindsie appeared on The Dr. Phil Show and shared her version. She said, “It was our last day of filming. He claimed I woke up my niece.” She added that the argument got out of hand. She stated, "He pushed me in the neck."

Chase Chrisley, 29, was not impressed by Lindsie’s interview with Dr. Phil McGraw. He called her statements “all this nonsense.” Reflecting on his relationships now, Chase added, “I get really paranoid having strangers around me.” He believes that if your own family can betray you, then a stranger surely will.

Reports indicate that Us Weekly reached out to Lindsie’s representative for comment on the recent episode.

Todd Chrisley, speaking from prison in a phone call, felt his daughter’s decision to badmouth his wife on The Dr. Phil Show was out of line. He stated, “We never spoke to her again after that incident.” He added that they had no further dealings with her until "after the indictment."

New back-to-back episodes of The Chrisleys: Back to Reality continue on Lifetime on Tuesday, September 9, at 8 p.m. Eastern Time. The season finale is set to air on September 16.
