Charred Body Found in Montevideo’s Cerro Norte Neighborhood Amid Rising Violence

A charred body was found in a ditch near the intersection of Río de Janeiro and Mones Quintela streets in the Cerro Norte neighborhood.
Police were called to the scene after a witness reported seeing two strangers toss a bundle into the area.
When officers arrived, they discovered a completely burned corpse.
Now, they’re working to identify the victim.
