The first date of San Lorenzo de Alamagro, against Arsenal, had a loud and effusive rejection of the club’s leadership, which came down in the form of songs from the four sides of the Pedro Bidegain stadium: “Leaders… let’s see if they realize that nobody wants them…”, the Barca fans were heard.
In the midst of the institutional crisis that San Lorenzo is going through, rumors about the presentation of the resignation of Matías Lammens, former president of the club and current member of the board of directors, are multiplying. Lammens has been questioned about the loss-making management of the club and pointed out by the opposition as one of the main people responsible for the suspension of the electoral act that had to take place on December 17, and that was suspended just hours before its beginning, by a resolution of the General Inspectorate of Justice (IGJ).
After the first victory against Arsenal, San Lorenzo resumed training at Ciudad Deportiva. On the next date they will face Lanús, on Saturday at the Ciudad de Lanús Stadium.
