The Champions Trophy 2025 is set to take place after a seven-year hiatus, with Pakistan hosting the tournament. The International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced the schedule for the warm-up matches, with Pakistan also revealing the squad for their Shaheen team, also known as Pakistan-A team. Notably, the Indian team will not participate in any warm-up matches before the Champions Trophy 2025, as they have recently played a three-match ODI series against England and are required to arrive in Dubai by February 15.
Pakistan-A team’s warm-up matches
The Pakistan-A team will play three practice matches against Bangladesh, South Africa, and Afghanistan before the Champions Trophy 2025. These warm-up matches are scheduled to take place from February 14 to 17. The team will face Afghanistan on February 14, South Africa on February 17, and Bangladesh on the same day. Additionally, a warm-up match between New Zealand and Afghanistan will be played at the stadium in Karachi on February 16. All matches are day-night matches.

Muhammad Huraira will captain the team against South Africa in Karachi on February 17, while Mohammad Haris will lead the team against Bangladesh in Dubai on the same day.
