Champions Trophy 2025 Pakistan Grounds Raise Concerns Over Chair Quality

The host country of the Champions Trophy 2025, Pakistan, has been facing criticism for several months regarding its preparations for the tournament. The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has stated that the Lahore ground is fully prepared, with a completely new seating system. Many videos have surfaced showing the installation of chairs in the field. Recently, a video from Pakistan has emerged, in which a person claims that new chairs made from cheap materials have been installed in the grounds.

In a viral interview, the person, referred to as an expert, discusses the differences between fiber chairs and the newly installed ones. The expert states that fiber chairs are durable and can last 20-30 years, and even if they get damaged, they can be repaired. However, the expert expresses concerns that the new chairs will start to deteriorate after just one year, raising questions about their quality.

The expert also raises suspicions about the intentions of those responsible for the construction work for the Champions Trophy 2025. According to the expert, the old chairs in the grounds were made of plastic, which can break and shatter, and cannot be repaired. In contrast, fiber chairs can be restored to their original shape and appearance if they get damaged. While the claims made in the video have not been verified, if true, they would be a concerning issue for the cricket world.
