Fink indicated that he believed that crypto and blockchain technology had enormous potential. However, he is not yet fully convinced of the value of the largest cryptocurrency, bitcoin (BTC).

Dimon stated that he saw absolutely no value in bitcoin and that he personally did not want to know anything about the cryptocurrency. He did indicate that JPMorgan could possibly offer investment products based on bitcoin to customers.

Larry Fink also personally ignores bitcoin for a while. He states that he is not an expert on bitcoin and that he cannot say whether the bitcoin price will go to $80,000 or all the way back to $0.

Blockchain technology

Where Fink clearly does not share the opinion of many crypto investors about bitcoin, he does indicate that he is full of praise for crypto and blockchain in general. According to him, the new revolutionary technology has the potential to change the world.

“[…] I see huge opportunities for a digitized crypto/blockchain currency and that’s probably where it’s going in my opinion. That will bring about some big winners, and some big losers.”

It is clear that Fink believes that crypto and blockchain look forward to a bright future. Whether that is with or without bitcoin as the largest cryptocurrency.
