CFE Offers Appliance Renovation Program for Energy and Financial Savings

Energy bills getting you down? The Federal Electricity Commission (CFE) has a solution. They’re launching a new program to help you save money and energy. It’s called the Integral Systematic Savings (ASI) program.

Here’s how it works: you can trade in your old appliances for new, energy-efficient ones. These new models are certified to save energy and water. You can even pay for them in installments on your electricity bill.

The CFE is backed by the Energy Savings Trust (FIDE). They’re offering appliances from well-known brands. These appliances are designed to reduce energy and water consumption. Think refrigerators and washing machines that are kind to the environment.

Want in? Here’s what you need to do:

  • Be the account holder for your electricity contract
  • Have a fixed domestic rate
  • No outstanding debts for over 3 years
  • Have a valid voter ID
  • Proof of address

Just call 071 or visit a CFE customer service center. They’ll guide you through the process. You can choose from a range of products and start making payments in installments.

This program is a win-win. You get new appliances, save money on your energy bill, and do your part for the environment. The CFE has other programs too, like summer subsidies and free solar panel installation.

So, what happens to your old appliances? Be sure to ask when you sign up. The CFE hasn’t specified if they’ll collect them or if you need to take them to a special recycling center.

The ASI program is a great way to reduce your environmental footprint and save some cash. Spread the word!
