The National District Basketball Association (ABADINA) announced that Cerveza República will be the official sponsor of the 2023 Superior Basketball Tournament, which will represent a great impact and attractive experience for the fans.
The announcement was made official by Diego Pesqueira, president of ABADINA, and Santiago Matías, CEO of Cerveza República at the time they signed the agreement.
Matías affirmed that the sports venue with the greatest impact in Dominican basketball, which is Professor Virgilio Travieso Soto’s Palacio de los Deportes, “will become a REPUBLIC experience.”
The CEO of Cerveza República added that together with Pesqueira, president of ABADINA, they agreed on the same objective “and that is to make the tournament a memorable edition, where the emotion is experienced at another level.”
While Pesqueira reiterated that the contest will begin on September 13 with the participation of the San Lázaro, Mauricio Báez, Huellas del Siglo, Los Prados, Rafael Barias, El Millón, San Carlos and Bameso clubs, champions of the last version.
It is a historic agreement in all aspects, since in addition to the assembly of the event, in charge of ABADINA, the 8 participating clubs are directly part of it.
