Cervera passes list of transfers to Oviedo to fight for promotion

With the Equatoguinean coach renewed until 2025, the Carbayón team is fully involved in the hiring scene, where they will need at least 4 or 5 new names.

At Real Oviedo they have already made the first and most important transactional movement, the renewal of coach Álvaro Cervera. He ecuatoguinean has been associated with carbayon club until 2025, and is looking forward to starting from scratch next season. Let’s remember that the 57-year-old coach arrived at Carlos Tartiere in October of last year.

Oviedo lacked 8 points to reach the last place in the promotion playoffs. Which means that the campaign was not entirely bad, since they never felt the rigors of relegation to the First RFEF. However, the goal next season will not be to reach the top 6, but to finish in the top two places. For this, it has made its needs known with the Oviedo directives.

So far, Oviedo has only closed one signing, and that is Sebas Moyano, from CD Lugo.

Without names yet, Cervera mentions what Real Oviedo needs

One thing is certain and that is that at the moment there are no specific names for the execution of transfers. What is a fact is the knowledge of the plots that the Equatoguinean coach wants to reinforce. For example, the goal is essential, since the departure of Tomeu Nadal and the injury of Quentin Braat, have left the Oviedo gate uncovered.

Going to the rear, the center and the left flank are very well covered, but the right zone is not. Cervera asks for a right-back to give Lucas a hand. As for the core, they need the replacement of Montoro, who will not renew due to a technical decision. For the offensive field, the first signing has already been made, but they need one more for the center of attack.

The first signing confirmed by Cervera himself for the Real Oviedo attack

At the moment the only operation that has already seen the light is that of the extreme right Sebas Moyano, who will arrive from the recently relegated CD Lugo. The Andalusian attacker’s contract ends at the end of this season, and the Carbayón team will sign him for free. Cervera agreed with this hiring, since he is a versatile striker who can also play as a midfielder.

As for the renewals, Oviedo is already working on those of Víctor Camarasa, Sergi Enrich, Koba Koindredi, Mangel Prendes and Marcelo Flores. There is no doubt that Roberto Suárez’s sports management has a lot of work for this summer market, but taking advantage of the fact that the season is over for the team from Oviedo, they will start now.
