A Spanish football club has announced that it will join the CVC fund, a partner of La Liga, after initially expressing hesitation. The club’s General Manager, Maximo Benassi, revealed that the team had been working to determine whether joining the fund was appropriate and what drawbacks it might have.
League President Encourages Club to Join
La Liga President, Javier Tebas, has encouraged the club to join the CVC project, stating that it is a collective effort aimed at growing football. Tebas pointed out that the club would receive 30 million euros if it joins the fund, which would be distributed over four seasons.
Restrictions on Salary Cap
It’s worth noting that only 15% of the total figure can be used to change the salary cap of the staff. This means that the club will have limited flexibility in terms of player salaries and compensation.
CVC Fund Attracts Majority of Spanish Teams
