Carrier asks the Chamber of Accounts to audit Petrocaribe import bills

The driver leader, Mario Díaz, asked the Chamber of Accounts to carry out an audit of all oil invoices for imports, sales and shipments made by the Dominican State through the Dominican Petroleum Refinery from the beginning to the end of the Petrocaribe agreement. signed between Venezuela and the Dominican Republic.

Díaz recalled that the country received oil and its derivatives at preferential prices and with a credit of up to 25 years, ensuring that the population has the right to know what was done with the money that was collected with the fuel that the population paid in cash.

The representative of the public transport drivers, who serves as spokesperson for the National Confederation of Transport Organizations (Conatra), said that his request was also signed by several union organizations.
