The digital director of Carrefour has shared a tweet in which he talked about the acquisition of a plot in The Sandbox for Carrefour. As explained by its CEO, this acquisition aims to test and anticipate emerging ideas.

The plot that Carrefour has bought is at coordinates 33.147 in The Sandbox.
Carrefour was also in Fortnite
Carrefoura French multinational chain, joined Fortnite, a video game developed by the company Epic Games, to promote healthy eating. A map was created within the video game called: “The Healthy Map” (The healthy map). The objective was to find healthy food (fruit, vegetables and fish) so that the players had more lives and could continue with the game.
The French supermarket has not been the only one to join, other companies such as Nike or H&M have also entered the metaverse. For now, no one is sure that these marketing actions will have positive results, but it is the new great strategy that is triumphing among brands to get closer to the youngest.
