Neville believed that with a new goalkeeper, plus the attacking players they showed against Arsenal, and a solid defensive line, United had potential. He also pointed out the benefit of having weeks off, with no Champions League or Europa League games. That’s when he repeated his big claim: “Manchester United will surprise some people.”
