The Cardano developers are getting closer and closer to the release of the Vasil hard fork. In a recent announcement from Input Output, node 1.35.0 has been released. The main Cardano developer says the release of this node is a “major milestone” on the way to the Vasil hard fork.

The Cardano developer team is now preparing for the release of the testnet. The testnet update proposal will be submitted once 75% of all stake pools are on board. In this way the required level of ‘chain density’ is guaranteed.
The Vasil hard fork was originally supposed to launch at the end of June, but this has been postponed. According to the updated schedule, that is now expected to happen at the end of July. It looks like the Vasil hard fork will significantly improve Cardano’s performance.
According to many, the upgrade will also be good news for the price. At the time of writing, the price of 1 ADA token is around $0.50. That is about 8 percent higher than last week.
