Kyiv: Ukraine has denied the news of Russia gaining complete control over the two Ukrainian cities of Soledar and Behmut yesterday.
In this regard, the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, has said that intense clashes with the Russian army are ongoing in the cities of Soledar and Behmut, which are connected to Donetsk.
He said that Ukrainian forces are fighting the enemy in both cities, we are continuing efforts to speed up the process of supplying weapons to Ukraine.
In his daily video message shared on his Telegram account, Zelensky reminded that we continue to fight for the cities of Donetsk and Luhansk regions.
On the other hand, the Ukrainian leader, mentioning the continuation of phone contacts with European leaders, said that we are continuing efforts to speed up the process of supplying weapons to Ukraine.
It should be noted that the Russian Ministry of Defense announced yesterday that they have taken full control of the city of Soledar. To which the spokesman of the Eastern Group of the Ukrainian General Staff, Sergei Chirivati, said that this is not true.
