Marvel may have shifted its focus to producing series and films for its cinematic universe, but that doesn’t mean there won’t be exciting new releases in 2025. One of the most anticipated movies is “Captain America: Brave New World”, which is set to open on February 14, 2025. This film marks a new chapter in the Captain America series, with Anthony Mackie, also known as Sam Wilson, taking on the iconic shield after the events of the series “The Falcon and The Winter Soldier”.
As a reminder, Chris Evans, who played Steve Rogers for a decade, left the character after “Avengers: Endgame”, paving the way for Sam Wilson to become the new Captain America. Marvel Studios announced the arrival of the fourth Captain America movie, titled “Captain America: brave new world”, with great fanfare, and expectations have been high ever since, especially with the addition of Harrison Ford to the project.
The official trailer for “Captain America: brave new world” has been released, and it has left fans with more questions than answers. The trailer shows Sam Wilson being recruited by the newly elected President of the United States, Thaddeus “Thunderbolt” Ross, played by Harrison Ford, to fill the Captain America vacancy and become a government agent.

The trailer also shows Sam saving Ross from an attack by Isaiah Bradley, a veteran super soldier, in the middle of an event at the White House. This sets the stage for the new Captain America to try to warn the president of the danger that is looming. The trailer also features a couple of images of Sam Wilson and Joaquin Torres, who will be the new Falcon, and gives us a first glimpse of the Hulk, which appears to be none other than President Ross himself.

The cast of “Captain America: Brave New World” includes Anthony Mackie, Harrison Ford, Danny Ramirez, Liv Tyler, Giancarlo Esposito, Carl Lumbly, Tim Blake Nelson, Shira Haas, Xosha Roquemore, Seth Rollins, and Rosa Salazar. Unfortunately, Sebastian Stan, who played Bucky Barnes, will not be appearing in the film, at least according to his own statement. “Captain America: Brave New World” is set to be released in theaters on February 14, 2025, making it a great way to celebrate Valentine’s Day with an action-packed story.
