Capital attack investigation, exacerbates former President Trump’s woes

Washington: A request for presidential immunity was made by Trump’s lawyers on the Capitol Hill attack, which was rejected by the Biden administration.

According to a report by a foreign news agency, after the defeat of former President Donald Trump in the US presidential election, his supporters attacked Capitol Hill and caused severe damage to government property.

Former President Trump’s difficulties in investigating the Capitol Hill attack have been exacerbated by the decision to present Trump’s January 6 record in the White House to a committee of inquiry.

According to the report, former President Trump’s lawyers requested presidential immunity, but the Biden administration rejected the request.

The Biden administration says the presidential immunity is not in America’s interest because Trump incited his supporters to move the capital in his January 6 speech.
