The shift to digital sales is in full swing. PC gamers are driving this trend, with digital sales soaring to new heights. Console digital sales, on the other hand, were around 18.517 million units, a slight drop from the previous fiscal year. PC sales have been on the rise, with 21.6 million units sold in the previous fiscal year. This growth is no surprise, given Capcom’s increased focus on the PC market. Almost every game is now released simultaneously on console and PC, including the highly successful Monster Hunter Wilds.

The success of Monster Hunter Wilds, despite its technical issues, is a testament to the growing demand for PC games. Other titles, like Resident Evil 4, have also contributed to Capcom’s PC success.
