Capcom’s financial results for the fiscal year 2024 show another year of strong profit. The company released its financial report recently, highlighting its eighth consecutive year of record profits.
The total sales reached 1.1 billion USD by March 31, 2025, up 11.3% from the previous year. Operating profit was 430 million USD, a 15.2% increase. Net profit was 320 million USD, up 11.7%.
Game Sales Drive Success
Game sales were a key factor in Capcom’s success. The company sold 51.87 million game copies, largely due to Monster Hunter Wilds. This game sold over 10 million copies in its first month. Other popular titles like Monster Hunter Rise, Street Fighter 6, and Resident Evil 4 Remake also performed well.
Monster Hunter Rise sold an additional 2.4 million copies, bringing its total to a significant number. Street Fighter 6 reached 4.4 million copies sold. Resident Evil 4 Remake exceeded 10 million copies.
Expansion Beyond Games
Capcom’s arcade business also grew. The company opened five new locations and closed one. It now has a larger presence in the arcade market. Capcom hired 170 new game developers, bringing its total to 2,846. The company aims to hire 100 new developers each year.
