Canva AI and OpenAI work together to make visual creation easier

In a strategic move aimed at streamlining the process of creating visual assets for businesses and entrepreneurs, OpenAI introduces a Canva plugin for its popular chatbot, ChatGPT.

The goal of this integration is to improve the way users create images and provide a simplified and user-friendly approach to digital design.

A more efficient design process

Previously, using Canva with ChatGPT required manual work, but the new plugin allows users to create visualizations with just a few clicks. This makes the design process more efficient.

To access this feature, users need to launch and search for ChatGPT in their browser ‘Accessories Store’ in the area of accessories. Once installed, you need to select Canva in the Add-ons section in the main chatbot window. In the instructions box we can describe the visualization we want to create using instructions like: “I am an AI enthusiast active on Twitter. Create a banner for my account.” This action generates a list of images from which users can select their preferred option, edit them in Canva and download them directly for use.

This integration is currently exclusive to ChatGPT Plus subscribers who pay a monthly fee of $20. In addition to the Canva plugin, users get access to the updated large language model GPT-4, capable of creating long-form content and accepting images as input.
