Canal +: two new channels are emerging

It is an event that had not taken place for nearly ten years. Two new channels, Canal + Docs and Canal + Kids, will appear on September 9 in the offers of the encrypted channel.

For the channel devoted to documentaries – a genre highly prized by subscribers according to Canal + – it is a wide choice of unreleased films, such as TINA, the biopic event of the American channel HBO devoted to Tina Turner, which will be proposed. For his part, Robin’s wish recounts actor Robin Williams’ battle with illness, while Bruno vs Tyson, signed by Oscar-winning director Kevin MacDonald, looks back on the duel between Franck Bruno and Mike Tyson. In total, when it is launched, more than 180 documentaries will be available on Canal + Docs.

The channel has also thought of children. Obviously. With a channel dedicated to 4-12 year olds called Canal + Kids, and programs in tune with their times and specially designed for children. There are original productions, like Mush-Mush and Mushrooms Where Kaeloo, but also full of novelties, documentaries, and entertaining programs intended for the youngest. No less than 5,000 hours of content will be accessible from launch.

Note that, each week, three thematic evenings will be offered between 7 p.m. and 9 p.m., with Atmosphere Series Tuesday, Surprise on Friday, and The great oddity the Saturday.
