Canadian Adam Svensson wins the RSM Classic

Canadian golfer Adam Svensson sealed his first victory on the PGA Tour this Sunday by winning the RSM Classic.

The tournament came to Sunday with everything to be decided after whate on Saturday will leave two golfers as leaders (Americans Patrick Rodgers and Ben Martin) with 14 more players, including Svensson, within three shots Of diference.

Finally Svensson prevailed by signing a -6 this Sunday (six birdies) that allowed him to distance himself from the rest with a -19 in total.

Three golfers were two strokes from the champion with -17 in total: the Englishman Callum Tarren and the Americans Sahith Theegala and Brian Harman.

Rodgers and Martin, who shared the lead on Saturday after three days, deflated on the last day and they closed the tournament with -14 and -12, respectively.

In this PGA Tour tournament that was held in St. Simons Island (Georgia, USA) there were no Hispanic representatives on the weekend since neither the Colombians Nico Echavarría and Camilo Villegas nor the Argentines Augusto Núñez and Tano Goya did not pass the cut.
