Canada barred its citizens from traveling to Pakistan unnecessarily

Canada has instructed its citizens not to travel to certain parts of Pakistan, including Karachi.

The Canadian government in its advisory has asked the citizens of Pakistan to be cautious and directed the Canadian citizens to be cautious in Pakistan in view of the unforeseen security situation.

Reacting to the travel advisory issued by Canada, Federal Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmed said that Pakistan is a peaceful country for foreigners in every way.

He added that there was no threat of terrorism to foreigners in Pakistan, adding that Canada had not made any contact with Pakistan before or after the launch of its travel advisory.

Sheikh Rashid also said that there is no issue with Canadians or they need security.

He said that all sects and schools of thought in Pakistan are living happily.
